Project name: Fiber optic floodlight
Project goals: The project involves creating a solution that transports sunlight (daylight) in the visible light band to rooms and spaces that do not have direct contact with external partitions, i.e. roof or wall, using fiber optic technology to illuminate these spaces with natural light.
Planned effects: As a result of the project, the SunFiber product will be commercialized and the goal of reducing the problem of eye fatigue when working in artificial lighting (unpleasant color, flickering, blue light emission) will be achieved; eliminating the problem of incorrect color reproduction; reducing the demand for electricity for lighting rooms and spaces; reducing the limitations in shaping the building body related to the need to use solutions that transport daylight to spaces containing permanent workstations and reducing the costs associated with constructing facilities in the above-mentioned way; reducing heat losses by reducing the necessary area of transparent partitions. The result/effect of the project implementation will be the creation of an innovative light transport device, the SunFiber fiber optic fan
